ECI is proud to announce the adoption by the City of San Antonio the new building-related and fire codes of Earthen construction. Thanks to Texas Public Radio and the City of San Antonio Earthen construction has been made more accessible to Architects, Engineers, builders and code officials. Making it easier to implement such construction techniques is this modern world.

The City of San Antonio formally adopted ECI’s earthen building code recommendations as part of the City’s amendments to the 2018 International Building Code. The new code and amendments will be effective October 1, 2018.
